[Waverley ARS] Final Lightouse plans & Net

Hi folks

Hope to see as many club members as possible this weekend, particularly at Macquarie Lighthouse where the Hartbour Trust people have gone out opf their way to accommodate us. Please bring whatever gear you'd like to show off as there will be lots of public there, hopefully interested in what we do (as advertised in last weekend's Spectrum).

Saturday: 8.30 am Willing hands needed to help erect Scout-pole mast at Macquarie Lighthouse. This is so we can get a flying start on the Sunday. 

10.00am to 4.00pm, Hornby Lighthouse, South Head; 10-minute walk up the path from the east end of Camp Cove; car park at beach or surrounding streets. If you can help carry gear, please meet at the car park at 10. Liaise via 2M repeater 147.025.

Sunday: 10.00am - 5.00pm Macquarie Lighthouse. We hope to have at least 2 bands running. Extra antennas & gear most welcome (PSK, ATV etc)
12.20 - 1.00pm Jack VK2TRF will ascend the Lighthouse with gear to attempt a distance-record ATV contact with Norah Head Lighthouse on the Central Coast.

This Friday: 7.30pm net on club 2M repeater for last-minute info & discussion.
