[Waverley ARS] More Lighthouse news

Hi folks

The Harbour Trust has asked us to change our day at Macquarie Lighthouse to Sunday August 20 (instead of the Saturday) to coincide with their open day.

There is a good chance they will provide us with a tent/marquee for the occasion. It will be great public exposure for the club and Amateur Radio in general as about 200 people are expected.

The Lightouse will be open for tours on the day (take note Jack!) although bookings need to be made in advance.

This means that Hornby Lighthouse will need to be on the Saturday; I trust this change of days will be OK for everyone.

Plenty of planning to be done, so please check in with your intention to attend, via email or Friday 7.00pm on the repeater.
